IslandSongs

was our annual performance event in Unst which was held in the summer holidays. This year, 2014, we are not holding IslandSongs and this page is for information only.

IslandSongs was held on the first weekend of the school holidays, in the summer of each year. The rehearsals and performance were in Unst, the northern-most inhabited island in the UK, and the event was open to anybody from the age of nine upwards.

In the past, our leaders have been Lin Marsh, a specialist voice teacher with a distinguished career in composing and working with children, and Wendy Cook, a dance coach and director with experience in theatre and choral productions.
