Zimbabwe - A personal note
As most of you who read this blog know, I hail from Zimbabwe and the country is very dear to my heart, not least because most of my family still live there.
Zimbabwe gave me a fantastic education and an outlook on life with a very particular flavour. I grew up in Bulawayo, a centre for cotton manufacture at the time, and school projects about growing cotton or screenprinting fabrics are fond memories.
At this time of great change in the country, we wish all Zimbabweans, whether living in the country or in the wider diaspora, success and peace. Fingers crossed that Zimbabe once again becomes economically stable and the country's cotton and textile industries return.
