Wall hanging from Zimbabwe

If you have been to the studio you may have seen our wall hanging by Cornelia Nemungando of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. 

Cornelia created our hanging to depict A Woman's Day (left, detail and right, the whole hanging) and the piece shows all the activities that women in the rural areas of the country do every single day of their lives. It attracts a lot of comment and many of you have asked if you can purchase something similar. Up until now we have not been able to get in touch with Cornelia but recently Cornelia has been in contact and we are shortly about to have another wall hanging by her, Brewing Beer. As you can imagine, it is very gratifying to be able to help out someone in Zimbabwe while at the same time purchasing new pieces for the collection. We would like to do more though and we think that you, our loyal readers, may have advice for us as to how best to support a maker across the sea. If you think you can help, please email.
