I found this website on the BBC news. It intrigued me because Zahra is the first female candidate to run for office in Iran's elections this year and she is completely fictional! Animation allows the creators, Amil and Khalil, to motivate and galvanise people from across the world through Facebook and their own website with its graphic novel chapters telling the story.

Take some time to look at the website, if you will. There is a lot to see and many ways to contribute to the campaign. The web comic has been described as "revolutionary" and "a first for the internet". Perhaps it is showing us a way to become more active in political debate? Let's hope so.
