Yvonne Sloan

In 1963,Yvonne Sloan began weaving while advising the Department of Education in Aotearoa New Zealand in art and craft.
Yvonne has been hugely influential in the art world as a weaver and a show in Christchurch Otautahi is displaying three panels - X, VI, VII - part of a larger series. The panels are made of wool using a twill technique to explore colour and structure in a vibrant and deep palette of colours.
