Yell Workshops

Over the past few months, we have been working with folk to create workshops and events to run at the Centre in Yell around the theme of "The Land". This summer, we will have a series of workshops, starting with Inking and Stamping with Jennie Atkinson, Liz Gott's exploration of the geography and geology of the area around Sellafirth leading onto creating textiles, photography for design, and others. If you are interested in the ways people perceive landscape and how you can use this inspiration as material for your own work, watch out for events on the website and blog, and come up to Yell to take part.
