Christmas 2013

It may be far too early to be saying Merry Christmas, but we wanted to show you our recycled tree.

The tree has been in my garden for a few years since I put it out one Christmas. Every time I saw it, I thought about burning it or using it as a scaffold for plants to climb over. This year we had the idea to decorate it and make it into a completely recycled tree. 

A happy afternoon and evening later, we had the tree wrapped in strips of fabric and then it sat in the porch for a few weeks until we got it down to the studio in Yell. We then put extra decorations on it from various workshops that we had been running and now you see the result. Merry Christmas everyone!
