Wool Week 2019
It is Wool Week in Shetland! Fun, frolics and textile enthusiasts galore.
Wool Week is celebrating its tenth anniversary. From the early days a decade ago when it was simply a weekend of celebrating wool to an annual festival which attracts more than 900 people to the islands from across the globe, Wool Week is a Big Success for those of us in the industry. Patron on this year's festival is Oliver Henry from The Wool Brokers, the man who started it all.
Congratulations to the WW committee, to everyone involved in it and to Oliver. Biggest thanks to Victoria Tait who looks after the festival year-round and organises just about everything. It is such a great success largely because of people like Oliver and Victoria. Happy Wool Week everyone and here's to celebrating for decades to come.
