Thanks to an eagle-eyed contributor from across the world, here is another chance to see some knitted churches...
The project, Woolly Spires, was an eight year project by artsNK. The idea that many of the churches of Lincolnshire were funded by the wealth generated by the local sheep, the Lincoln Long Wool, was the starting point for 3D knitted versions of six of the buildings. These are now on display again in the National Centre for Craft and Design in Sleaford until the 22nd April.
Thanks for the link, Debra. We love contributions like this!
