Here is what is happening this week.
In London Collect, the Crafts Council's international craft showing, is on at the Saatchi Gallery until the 6th February. Check out Curved Twist...
Also in London the Transport Museum is continuing to look at the textiles on the Underground system. As part of that this week the Museum is hosting BeatWoven who use song and sound to create their fabrics. Just up our street!
Dominic Gubb creates animals using, amongst other things, recycled gym ropes and leather. You can see some of his work, including this rather splendid and fun vulture, in Swansea at the Waterfront Museum.
In Shetland, Vivian Ross-Smith's Island Connections looks at island communities through pictures and textiles. The show is on at Bonhoga Gallery.
