Summer visitors

We like visitors. This week we have had some very interesting people in the studio. 

Elizabeth from Promote Shetland came along to interview us and see what we are up to. We had a great chat about GlobalYell and also about our other company, The Shetland Tweed Company, and when we got Alvin-the-loom running it made for some great footage. When we have a publishing date we will let you know and you can all meet Elizabeth (virtually) too.

We also had two lovely women from New Zealand in who spent ages talking to us and oooh-ing and aaah-ing over our cloths. It is fun to show people around who really enjoy what we do and are interested in weave. I think we may have some converts!

Then this week we also had visitors from Shetland who had been lambing sheep nearby, some from Edinburgh, a couple from England and a few from Scotland, and now Germany. I do not think you could ever say that the summer in Shetland is dull, in spite of the damp weather...
