Summer visitors revisited
This summer we have seen many people and some of them are repeat visitors.
It is always lovely to meet new people but equally lovely (and gratifying) to see old friends. This week we met artists from Australia, touring folk from England with explorers in their lineage, Swiss, German, Italian and French Europeans, Norwegians, South Africans, New Zealanders and Canadians looking for ancestors. Americans, Scots and, of course, Shetlanders. It is truly amazing to live in a place where so many people from all across the globe come, and to see how people enjoy being in the studio and Shetland Gallery next door.
And we have had past weavers (Hi, Amy!) and friends from all over pop in to see how we are doing. It is good to show that we are progressing and to remember how things used to be in the studio and where we are now.
If you fancy coming along to see us, we are open nine to five weekdays and Saturday, 2 to 5 on Sunday. Let us know you are planning a visit...
