Vav magazine

We have had a lovely visit from the editor and photographer for the Scandinavian weave magazine, Väv.

Tina and Bengt arrived on a bright and sunny Shetland autumn day with a light breeze blowing and beautiful light. We had coffee and a chat, then looked through our collection of fabrics and took many many photos. It was great to spend time with friendly people who were knowledgeable and inquiring. And, very exciting, we are going to be in the January issue of the magazine! Complete with pictures of Kirsty and I looking pleased as punch.

On leaving, Tina gave us a copy of the magazine and it is full of interesting news, information and, most importantly, photographs of pieces as well as drafts for various cloths and products. Such an inspiring publication, put together with true attention to detail and a sense of style and fun. 

Thanks for the gift and for visiting us, Tina and Bengt. We are looking forward to seeing our story in print.
