Have you ever wondered what it would be like to immerse yourself in a painting? Well...

Across the water, in France, Carrières de Lumières is hosting two exhibitions, one of van Gogh and the other of Japanese art. These exhibitions bring well-known paintings to life in extraordinary depth using animation. Have a look at the website - it takes a little while to load - to see some of the pieces in action. The shows are on until December 2020.
