Unusual companions

The designboom.com blog has an intriguing piece of art by New York artist Cai Guo-Qiang.

You may remember the wolves leaping through the air and hitting a glass panel? This newest piece is of animals drinking around a waterhole, featuring lifesize creatures (that would not be seen together in nature) that have been handcrafted in the cai studio for an exhibition in Queensland Art Gallery. Scroll down the page to see some images of the work being created.  Isn't it amazing?
