Some uniforms from New Zealand

There are two very good exhibitions on in NZ at the moment - one in Auckland and one in Christchurch.

In Auckland, there is a survey of popular music from the country from the 1950's onwards. It is a lovely show, full of information and some well-known musicians and songs are featured.

But there is also a lot that we did not know and we loved the costumes that groups like Split Enz wore on stage.

On the South Island, Christchurch has a splendid exhibition of 75 years of Air New Zealand. Complete with recreated interiors of aircraft and films showing how flying used to be, it was the uniforms that really caught the eye. They don't make them like that anymore, do they?!
