People who touch wool
A new exhibition has just begun at the Shetland Museum and Archives: People who touch wool.
The photographer, Alex Boak, who took pictures for a book published in 2015 entitled Shetland Works, has put those images on display in Da Gadderie at the Museum. Many familiar faces and a few 'unken' ones look out at the viewer, each with a tale to tell of their journey into the world of wool and the industry that continues to thrive 60 degrees North. The exhbition is on until the 1st October and you can read more about it here.
