The Shetland Tweed Company

The most exciting news we have this week is the launch of a new venture, The Shetland Tweed Company. 

Last year, Kirsty and I decided that we wanted to make our own fabrics for use in the fashion industry and so we set up a new company, The Shetland Tweed Company. Based in Yell, our new company will be producing tweeds that are contemporary and variations on the traditional fabrics from the islands. It is Very Exciting and lots of people have wished us luck with our idea. Kirsty has set up a Facebook page and a Twitter account (@ShetlandTweedCo). We also have a website which we are working away on.

We are very excited by this new adventure and hope that you will come along on our journey with us. More happy times ahead!
