Some new things for our collection

We have added some new things to our collection at the studio and are looking for information about what they could possibly be.

At an auction last week we bought a job lot of interesting fabrics with no clues about their origin. Imagine how delighted we have been to open the box up and see some beautiful and fascinating items. Ikat, braids, shoes, jackets and hats are all part of this particular haul!

Here are some pictures of the objects. My guess is that they are mainly Northern Chinese but maybe one of you loyal readers has more of an idea than I do.
