Textile hangings

We have been hanging some new fabrics on the walls in the weave studio and it is looking wonderful. Thanks to Albie and Maggie for sewing and drilling holes and going up ladders.

While we were busy, I realised that I had some pieces about which I know nothing. One of them is a brilliant blue woven piece of cloth from Africa, West I think. The cloth is woven in strips and sewn together to make one big textile. Does anyone know of an expert on African textiles who can help identify and tell us something about the cloth?
