Shonibare at the Tate
Yinka Shonibare's artwork, The British Library, is on show at Tate Modern for another few weeks.
Acquired earlier this year, the piece is composed of thousands of cloth covered books, many embossed with the names of immigrants as well as the names of those who opposed immigration to the UK. Some of the books though are unadorned. Is the story of immigration finished or does it continue? Thanks to our roving reporter, Mr H, we have some photographs of the installation, now part of the permanent collection at Tate.
