UFO - the telly series

Sylvia Anderson graduated with a degree in Sociology and Political Science from the London School of Economics but is better-known for her contributions to the entertainment industry. 

When Sylvia met and married Gerry Anderson, the famous husband and wife team began to make waves in television. Not only did Sylvia create characters for such series as Thunderbirds, Stingray and UFO, but also voiced the character Lady Penelope in Thunderbirds and created costumes for the programmes.  After the couple divorced she continued to be successful in her solo career, producing programmes and writing.
