A Sway of the Hem

Helsinki's Airport Railway Station boasts a fantastic (and huge) art piece.

Helman Heilahdus ("A Sway of the Hem") is by artist Aarne Jämsä (you can see more of his work here). It is an art work translated from original drawings of draped fabrics and sequins, and it covers 690 square metres, making it one of the largest artworks in the whole of Finland!

Thanks to our intrepid roving reporter we have some photographs to share with you all. Excellent sleuthing, Mr H.
