Stitchin' Kitchen

I would not have believed it if I had not seen it with my own eyes. A finished pot holder in less than forty minutes! The first of our Adult Learning classes for the winter has begun, and it was very good. Strong coffee, snickerdoodles (cinnamon baked biscuits), sewing machines, chatter and loads of laughing. What a great time we have had.

Jan Hardin, who is tutoring this class, has a wonderful mum-in-law who sends things over from America such as fabric, patterns, ideas, and the like. The class, over the next few months, will be the lucky recipients of this largesse!

If you would like to take part in the classes, it is not too late. The sessions are stand-alone, bite-sizes chunks, each one ending with a finished piece. You can sign up to make one, two or all of the pieces, and kit out your kitchen with trivets, aprons, and place mats, matching or mis-matching your decor. To sign up, speak with Adult Learning, contact details below.
