The Shetland Tweed Company shop

The Shetland Tweed Company, owned by yours truly, has a new shop. 

All the cloths I design at the studio in Yell are made into products or sold by the metre, and I am very pleased to say that our new shop is looking great, with all the products beautifully photographed by Alexa Fitzgibbon. GlobalYell weaves all the fabric for me. Isn't it fantastic to have the facilities to do this in Shetland! 

The shop is open but we have been very busy at the studio and some of the products on display online are not available any longer. However here is a link to the new shop and (above) a photograph of the newest of the Shetland Tweed Company cloth on the loom, named after St Ninian's Isle and tombolo. It is lovely to see the colours coming together and creating shimmering patterns, just like one can see at the top of the hill when looking down on the sand. How exciting!
