Shetland Tweed update

A new long wrap with red neckline The wrap can be worn as a shawl too. Over in Shetland, Alexa has been busy making wraps, throws and a new warp. 

It seems Spring is coming to the North. After what has been a long winter by all accounts, the light is returning to the Northern Hemisphere and Shetland is becoming lighter each day. It always seems to get light fast in the Spring in the isles but, as snow can still fall in May, perhaps it is too early yet to count on good weather. 

Muckle Ayre throwOne thing that is certain though is the warmth of wool. When it is combined with beautiful colour it really makes for a Joyous Thing. Here are a few pictures of Alexa's work in the studio; can't you just feel that warm glow?
