Stay and Make programme

GlobalYell's Stay and Make programme is open again for applications.

This programme is aimed at weavers or textile artists who want to spend time exploring the craft on their own. It offers time and equipment, half a day of training on a 24 shaft AVL loom with computerised design software, and business advice as well as dedicated space for the weaver to use and use of the reference library and textile collection. The programme costs £50 for the half day of training and £75 per week. This money pays for maintenance of equipment and the studio space.

If you are interested in a Stay and Make, please send an email with a CV attached and examples of your work. A covering letter should state what you intend to do if you are successful in gaining a place. Only one placement is available at any one time; please indicate in your covering letter a few dates when you would be available.

If you have any questions please get in touch and we will be pleased to help and advise.
