Stay and Make in Yell

Every so often we like to remind readers about the Stay and Make programme which we run.

Stay and Make is the name we have given to our bartering system. In return for use of the studio and equipment along with some assistance from us, anyone on a Stay and Make gives us something in return - teaching time or a pattern and colourway for cloth. It is an ideal chance for anyone wanting to learn more about weaving, and it has been designed to support those who know how to weave already and need a little time to explore and experiment.

Of course we also hire our equipment out and we are always keen to speak to anyone who wants to come and work with us. If you fancy living in Yell for a few days or weeks, get in touch and have a chat to us.
