Stay and Make for weavers

Our Stay and Make programme is open for applications to come and work in Shetland. The idea is to use the facilities at ASF Shetland and to stay in local accommodation in return for a product design that can easily hand-woven for sale by ASF. The programme has been used successfully for the past two years, and we have had some very interesting students and graduates coming up to work and stay, using their experience to support their own professional practice and business development. For more information, please see the webpage about the maker's programmes on the website, www.creativeindustriesshetland.org.uk, and have a read of the documentation. The Stay and Make programme will be changing shortly to offer two, shorter periods over the summer months. Until January, the programme is open for applications under the current format.
