Springtime

At this time of year, the light returns quickly to Shetland and we are all waking up early with sunshine streaming through windows and birds calling.

Lucky for us, but not for everyone. Apparently city dwellers do not enjoy as much nature as they would like, according to the National Trust, so beatboxer Jason Singh has been commisisoned to make an album of bird and insect sound to help out. Here is an interview with Jason on the BBC complete with his own versions of the sounds of our avian friends.
