Spotify - the figures

A lot of us now listen to music in streaming stations like Spotify. Now the internet service has revealed how much it pays artists for their music.

It does not seem like a lot for the artists concerned but I know that we have bought CDs and downloaded content after hearing something on Spotify, and if lots of people listen to a track, the amount an artist gets goes up. £0.004 still seems like a small amount though...
