Another chance to experience spider silk textiles.

It took more than 2 million spiders to produce enough silk to make four textiles. Oh, and 8 years!

If you happen to be in London over the month from 22nd Sept to 22nd October, head on over to The Natural World show at Oliver Hoare in Cromwell Place. There three of the spider silk textiles will be on display alongside other pieces like meteorites and Chinese root sculptures, all rare objects connected to nature. If you remember the spider silk cape, shown in 2012 at the V&A, these pieces are sure to capture your attention. For those unable to get to the show in person this link will take you to a virtual viewing of the whole exhibition.

You can read more about the exhibition on the Guardian website here.
