Making pictures sing

A partnership between the Dulwich Picture Gallery, English Touring Opera and people with dementia. What could possibly be going on?

The unique collaborative project used the pictures in the Gallery as stimulus for creating a recital of songs with people who have dementia and carers. The video on this page shows more about the process and what happened. I found it fascinating and thoughtful, full of dignity, empathy and care.
