Simmer Dim
It is the height of the summer in the Northern Hemisphere, and we have the longest days in the UK to enjoy. Oh, and an earthquake!
The sun is up very early at this time of year and only goes down for a brief period before resurfacing. It means long days to walk and linger (weather permitting, of course!) and spectacular sunsets too. Facebook has been full of red sunsets this week, and lots of pictures of the wildflowers and wildlife that is around now.
Yesterday though a friend posted that there had been an earthquake in the South Mainland. We do not often get tremors that we feel but this one was large enough for that. Not to worry though. No damage was done except for this... Thanks for posting, Helen!
