The Silk Mill, Derby

Thanks to the wonders of the internet (and an eagle-eyed contributor to the blog: Ms You-Know-Who-you-Are!) a virtual visit allows an explore of the whole place either as a 3D model or by strolling through by mouse-click. Although the mill is empty now of most of its equipment, some pieces have been retained and, with a bit of imagination, what must have been a bustling, noisy place can be once again conjoured up.
