The Shetland Tweed Company

The Shetland Tweed Company is going to be closing its doors for a little while.

Over the past few years we have been able to produce cloths and make products from those cloths. It has been a great experience, setting-up, running and managing the company but it has gotten harder and harder to run it from a distance. Now, with the distance even greater than before, and with the impending departure of Alexa who has been weaving for the Tweed Company over the past few years, I have decided to make the company dormant for a while.

Here are some photographs of the cloths and products we have made over the past few years. What a long way we have come since our first cloth back in 2015!
