Touring Shetland

The first of the tours for this year are underway.

By the time this blog comes out to you, dear readers, the first of the textile tours will be starting. Our visitor season usually runs May to end of September but this year we have two groups coming, one from Australia and one from the USA, much earlier. It is not really a problem that most venues are not open yet because our local museums are willing to open up for groups like ours. We are planning to visit Unst, Yell and the length of the Mainland of Shetland. Fingers crossed for good weather!
