Shetland in the Spring

The birds have started nesting again in the isles and we have our resident oystercatchers back again.

This time of year is so good, isn't it? The sun shines, birds call and all is right with the world. We even have lambs starting to appear on the hills. What could be a better sign of the spring? 

This year our oystercatchers have returned. They are not nesting at the studio but just down the road. Please be careful as you drive into the area because they love to run across in front of cars and we would hate to lose them.
