Pete Seeger

The US folk singer, Pete Seeger, has passed away at the age of 94.

Pete was one of the vanguard who transformed popular music in the USA and around the world in the 1950's and 60's, mentoring the likes of Bob Dylan and Don McLean, and performed right into his 90's. Some of his songs like "We Shall Overcome" and "Where Have All The Flowers Gone" remain popular and as topical now as when he first performed them.
