As the world grows more aware of sea-level rise and global warming so artists are getting involved in the debate in very interesting ways. Meet  Daan Roosegaarde.

Daan's recent piece, Waterlicht, uses technology to create a watery dreamscape across land and cityscapes. It is a powerful idea, coming from this Dutch artist whose homeland mostly and famously lies below or just above sea level. You can see various permutations of the piece on the Studio Roosegaarde website. Food for thought indeed.
