Sarah Barber

A couple of summers back, Sarah and two of her friends came up to stay and work in Shetland. We enjoyed having the lasses here very much, and I am very pleased to see that Sarah is opening her first major exhibition in the Leicester Creative Business Depot. Sarah's work is concerned with time and motion in space, and we have a small piece of hers that she wove here at ASF Shetland using wire and silk. Lovely colours and the ability to shape what looks like a soft flowing fabric is astonishing. See her show if you can.
