Sampling for our future

This week we have been sampling in preparation for a new direction. 

Maggie has been weaving for us on a simple warp. The pattern is a twill, common in Shetland and Scottish weaving, and the colours are from the landscape of the isles. We want to use the fabrics for furnishing and interiors, and we think that they would be ideal for giving any interior that special Shetland feeling.

In a few weeks' time I will put some pictures up of the cloths. Exciting times ahead!
