Samplers and Stitches

A Very Dear Friend and a Supporter of This Blog has given me a book which is charming and wonderful. 

Samplers and Stitches by Mrs Archibald Christie is a classic embroidery book with many stitches and techniques beautifully illustrated. Better yet it was printed in 1953 so it has thick pages and clear illustrations as well as black and white AND colour photographs. A splendid addition to any library, this one is now my own (although I will show you if you ask nicely!). Thank you Ms You-Know-Who-You-Are. I love the gift!
