When is a rope not a rope?

The Brazilian artist, Janaina Mello, has just installed an continuation of her "cyclorama" series as an artwork in Paris.

The newest piece uses a length of rope, untwinning the strands and using the individual lengths pinned to walls to fill the space in an art gallery with branches... or nerves... or, well, you can make up your mind. You can see all the pieces created so far on the artist's website.
