Textiles study event in October

We are very excited to be planning a week long study event in October this year, centred around textiles but with the added attraction of storytelling in the evenings, walks, and craft demonstrations by our local makers.

The event will be in beautiful Belmont House, a fully restored Georgian building overlooking Bluemull Sound which runs between Unst and Yell. Belmont is on Unst, with lovely walks and scenery, a hop, ferry and skip away from ASF Shetland.

At the moment we have plans for two exciting weavers, a felter and a lace knitter to be the workshop tutors.
