Relay for Life

Tonight, I was part of a group that sang for the Relay for Life  charity walk/ run in Lerwick. The Relay is a Cancer Research UK fund-raiser and Shetland is very proud o be part of that, although it was sad to see how many people are no longer with us due to the disease.

For the survivors and the people who took part, the Relay looked spectacular and I was very pleased and honoured to be asked to be part of the team put together to sing. Janice Armstrong sang lead vocals with backing by voices and instruments. There is a CD available for a donation, too.

Congratulations to everyone for the organising of the event, for the money raised and for the vision to make something like this happen. Thank you for including me!
