Rachel Hazell's amazing workshops

Our friend, Rachel Hazell, is going to be running one of her fabulous book-making workshops in April and, lucky for someone, has a couple of places come free. If you fancy three days and three nights of food, "Stationery Longing" tuition, all materials and excellent company, give Ms Hazell a call on Facebook. For £200 from the 20th to the 23rd April, you will be immersed in envelopes, stamps, pockets, letters, handwriting and post; all the things we used to do and seem not to do any longer in these days of computers and email.

I am the owner of a beautiful book that Rachel made for me a few years back, with hand-painted cakes and teacups in it, as a thank you for hosting a class. A very special present and I can thoroughly recommend that you get to her workshop weekend if you can. Â By the way, did I mentioned that the weekend takes place in the Bressay lighthouse...How impossibly romantic can you get!
