Power of Making

I have just come home from the Power of Making exhibition at the Victoria and Albert in London. What an amazing show! Go if you can. Inspirational and stylish, amazing and astonishing in equal measure. A real mix of crafts and skills, from the technologically advanced 3D printers that you can build at home through to dresses decorated using dressmakers' pins. The V&A is always a great place for design ideas. When you go, get yourself along to the Design Room where there is a new series of wallpapers and furnishings going up, and to the book illustrators show in the 20th Century area. So much to see....
