Physics to the rescue! Here are some ideas for combining music and patterns using little more than graph paper, pens and a voice.

I like the YouTube clip especially around 3.09 where the voice(s) blend into a choir of pulsating rhythms. What a wonderful thing physics is (although I am completely bamboozled by the equations on the page). How else could we explain sounds and patterns so simply and clearly?
