New book for the library

We have acquired a new book for the library at the studio.

Traditional Methods of Pattern Designing is a study of formal design as seen in the decorative arts, architecture, fabrics and relief. It was published in 1910 and this is the 1929 second edition.

Fantastic illustrations and drawings showing how the various patterns have been created, this is an invaluable resource for anyone looking for inspiration or for simply browsing through a catalogue of ideas and creativity.

The studio library is open to the public for browsing or study. To use the studio and library please contact us. A full list of catalogued books will be uploaded soon to the website. (Thanks to Rachel who volunteered to catalogue these books for us.)
